The Bristol-Myers Squibb Anagni facility is one of the two Technical Operations Italy plants. The facility is situated in an industrial area one hundred kilometers southeast of Rome.
The facility is approximately 19,300 square meters on a site of 358,000 square meters.
The Anagni Facility manufactures and packages two types of products. There are Sterile products such as suspension, solution, parenterals, and powder, in addition to non-sterile products such as non-lactam oral solid dose products, creams, syrups, tablets, and ointments. Included in this are: cardiovascular products, dermatological creams and ointments, and vitamins.
The principle products are cardiovascular, dermatological creams, oitnments, vitamins, anti-infammatory, anticoagulant, and analgesic branded pharmaceuticals.
Products are manufactured principally for American and European markets.

Economic Development

Bristol-Myers Squibb Anagni plant started pharmaceutical production in 1969, while the fermentation chemical production started in 1971.
In 1993 the chemical plant was sold to Novo Nordisk Biochemicals SRL, but the pharmaceutical plant became one of the most important industrial developments due to its technical reputation.

Community and Social Progress

Employees from Anagni and Latina have collaborated on several educational initiatives to raise EHS awareness and understanding in the community. This partnering has resulted in the publication of several booklets about water, chemicals, and plants and animals.
The health of our employees, the safety of our process, and protecting the environment are the commitments of our facility and the moral principles of our way of work.

Environmental Performance

For these reasons the top managment chooses to implement and certify an EHS integrated management system. The Anagni facility achieved the environmental management system certification ISO 14001 in 2000 and achieved the health and safety management system certification OHSAS 18001 in 2002.
