Medical Education Grants & Charitable Contributions Grants Submission Process

Our Medical Grants and Charitable Contributions site receives thousands of applications for funding on a yearly basis. Bristol-Myers Squibb is proud to sponsor grants that help address medical needs within therapeutic areas for which we provide treatment options. Although we are unable to fund all of the requests we receive, we will review all complete applications. Each request undergoes the review process below. For grants < $50,000, please allow at least six (6) weeks for the processing of your completed funding application. For grants > $50,000, please allow at least eight (8) weeks for the processing of your completed funding application. Grant requests submitted with insufficient time prior to an event may be rejected. Grant applications may also be rejected if they are incomplete.

PLEASE NOTE: New applications are initially screened against our existing database by program title. An applicant should not submit more than one application with the same program title, as doing so will result in all subsequent applications with the same title being rejected.

*Please Note: All grant requests are reviewed for compliance with our policies and relevant legal and industry requirements, including the guidelines set forth by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). For more information on specific guidelines, please click the relevant links below.

Failure to comply with the above guidelines or other requirements will jeopardize the BMS Medical Grants and Charitable Contributions program as well as place your organization at risk of fines and possible criminal prosecution.
