Independent Medical Education

Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Independent Medical Education (IME) mission strategically supports IME activities in disease areas of focus that address recognized gaps in healthcare delivery in order to improve patient care.

Independent Medical Education supports activities designed to enhance the professional skills and knowledge of health care professionals, when the program is independently developed and conducted by a qualified medical education provider. Supported programs must be objective, balanced, and scientifically rigorous.

Bristol-Myers Squibb requires all Medical Education providers to register and create a provider profile prior to submitting an independent medical education or grand rounds grant request. If you are not already registered, please visit the Medical Education Provider Capabilities & Outcomes (MEPCO) portal at https://ime-outcomes.com/ in order to do so.

Please note, the BMS grant application portal and MEPCO portal are independent websites requiring separate credentials. Please access the sites by clicking on the appropriate links:

All grant recipients who have received funding are required to enter under the relevant tabs of MEPCO portal current status data on all ongoing activities and educational outcomes data once these activities are completed. Additional instructions are posted within the site.
