Independent Medical Education — Grant Request
Grant Payment Terms – All IME grants approved after January 1, 2012 will be paid 100% upon award, except in unique cases when different grant payment terms will be specified in the Letter of Agreement. For IME grants equal to or in excess of $50,000 approved prior to January 1, 2012, Bristol-Myers Squibb will follow the previous terms of two payments: first payment is 65% of the total approved grant amount and second payment is 35% of total approved grant amount paid upon receipt of the budget reconciliation.
Please note that no changes are being made to the grant reconciliation requirement for all grants equal to or in excess of $50,000 according to the Bristol-Myers Squibb reconciliation process following completion of proposed activity(ies). Medical Education Provider Capabilities & Outcomes (MEPCO) Portal – All Medical Education Providers are required to register and create a provider profile on MEPCO prior to submitting an independent medical education or grand round request. Please note that the BMS grant application portal & the MEPCO portal are independent websites requiring separate credentials.
On completion of grant funded activities, educational outcomes must be entered through the MEPCO portal. Please click here to access the MEPCO portal.
