“We see the company’s mission in real life—in the villages, in peoples’ homes. We serve those who are experiencing health disparities.”

Working with the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, Phangisile helps build bridges to health in communities affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa. The best part of her job is walking through a village in her native South Africa and meeting someone who says, “People were planning my funeral, yet here I am today.”

“I am lucky,” Phangisile says. “I get to see the company’s mission in real life – in peoples’ villages, in their homes … and in their eyes.”
